Wiesbaden Market

We took a stroll down the Wiesbaden Marketplace and came across some amazing buildings and shops!

We also passed by several cute outdoor cafes that we will need to eat at when it starts to get warmer...which I am hoping will happen sooner than later. My poor little feet get so cold here. 

This place looks so cool! It was closed today, but they sell German trinkets, beer steins, and cuckoo clocks. 

Rainy Afternoons

It rains a lot in Germany. This is how we spend our rainy afternoons. Bishop is camera shy.

Heathen's Wall

We took a nice stroll through old town Wiesbaden. This is the oldest structure in Wiesbaden from Roman times (340AD). 

We love finding cool places like this as we continue to explore the area.

First Day of Work

Today was my first day at the International School in Frankfurt! I am shadowing the teacher I will be replacing in four weeks. This is the first time teaching that I will have my own office. YAY! 

My favorite thing so far is the kiosk that is open all day and serves Haribo Gummy Bears, Chocolate Chip muffins, Sandwiches, and warm Pretzels. The kids aren't terrible either. 

Sunday Funday

Yesterday Logan thought it was time to start blending in with the Germans. He came out of the bathroom looking like this. He turned a lot of heads on the street. Sieg Heil!

Exploring Wiesbaden

Just a five minute stroll from our apartment and you can see this awesome historic area of Wiesbaden!

This is such a beautiful church. Logan wants to apply for the "bell ringer" position.

Yes, we are adorable.

Life in Germany

....And years later Logan and I started a new adventure in Wiesbaden, Germany!

We have been in town for 4 weeks now and getting settled into our new apartment. We live in an old building in historic Wiesbaden. It has the best of both worlds because we are surrounded by lots of shopping and historic structures. 

The building only has 3 apartments in it and ours is the only one with a balcony.
