Nerotal Park

We took a nice stroll to the Nerotal Park in our town. It was huge and SO beautiful! The park sits in between streets of remarkably huge homes with amazing architecture.

Managed to get a picture of Bishop pooping...your welcome :)

These purple flowers are stunning and they were everywhere in this park. I asked Logan to pose and this is what he did...lame.

It reminds me of an old English garden.

Deer walking on water. :)

At the end of the park path there was a Tram called Neroberg, which takes you through the mountain path in Wiesbaden. We have not rode it yet, but are super excited to go up!

Car show and Historic Markers

We took a walk yesterday and came across an old car show in the Market Place.

We also found these brass bricks spread around in front of different buildings with names on them. These are called Stolperstein or Stumbling Stones. They were designed to commemorate victims of the Holocaust. They are placed in front of victims homes (which now are office or shopping stores) with the names, which camp they were taken to, and where they died. There are roughly 50,000 laid out now. Quite the fitting name, Stumbling Stone, so you take a minute to notice them when you stumble over them.

This is a bronze map of our city...I am fairly certain we were standing about where we were pointing to.

Spring time in Frankfurt

This is my lovely view every day when I ride the train to work. The wild flowers are so beautiful here! My school is in the background.

BBQ in Frankfurt!

We met some of our friends in Frankfurt on top of a mountain to have a BBQ. Took the dogs on our adventure...it was their first time to ride a train. They didn't love it. Haha.
