Happy Easter!

Celebrating Easter with a blast from the past. Erin might look prettier in this picture, but I found way more eggs than she did in our Malone Easter Egg Hunt. :)

Day at the Park

Although we do not have our own backyard anymore, we do have the luxury of living near a couple of great parks to take our dogs to. It was a wonderful and sunny day...it is becoming clear that whenever there are days like this one Germans try to soak up as much sun as possible. Check out the guy laying down catching some rays in the picture below.

I tried to get a picture with Bishop but he was busy running laps around the pond.

School Art Exhibition

Logan and I went to nearby town called Hattersheim last night for my schools Art Exhibition in a local gallery. One of my senior music students cam to play piano while people where coming in and out of the gallery. It was really cool...and they had free champagne. It was weird though because some of the students were drinking since the drinking age is 16.

Just a beautiful church on the way to the gallery.

Entering the Gallery courtyard and admiring the cuteness of Hattersheim.

This is the main gallery which used to be horse stables. The stone floors were so cool!

One of my students playing some Billy Joel! My principal asked if I was going to be playing piano and I told him that I may have lied on resume when describing my piano skills. Haha.

Wiesbaden Market

We took a stroll down the Wiesbaden Marketplace and came across some amazing buildings and shops!
We also passed by several cute outdoor cafes that we will need to eat at when it starts to get warmer...which I am hoping will happen sooner than later. My poor little feet get so cold here.

This place looks so cool! It was closed today, but they sell German trinkets, beer steins, and cuckoo clocks.

Rainy Afternoons

It rains a lot in Germany. This is how we spend our rainy afternoons. Bishop is camera shy.

Newt is a little more curious than Bishop.

Heathen's Wall

We took a nice stroll through old town Wiesbaden. This is the oldest structure in Wiesbaden from Roman times (340AD).

We love finding cool places like this as we continue to explore the area.
