Veronica comes to Germany Part 5- Schwangau and Füssen!

We rented a car and drove to the Bavarian region to see the Neuschwanstein Castle! It was an awesome part of our trip. Unfortunately, I do not have my German license yet so Veronica did all of the driving. She was a pro at driving on the Autobahn!

Walking up the trail in Schwangau where the castle is located.

We stayed in a hotel right below the castle. This was our view!

We traveled to the next town over called Füssen. It was very cute and full of awesome shops.

View of the castle from a parking lot in Füssen.

Getting ready for our tour of the Neuschwanstein Castle! Too bad we couldn't take pictures of the inside. It was amazing...and huge! We only saw a small part of the castle but it was stunning!

Veronica comes to Germany Part 4-Frankfurt!

We spent an afternoon in Frankfurt and saw the Romer or Old Town Hall.

Veronica comes to Germany Part 3-Rhein Castle Cruise!

I really wanted to take Veronica on a river cruise. We found this Rhein Castle Cruise near my town and decided to check it out. It was totally worth it! I think we saw 16 castles along the Rhein.

Such beautiful towns!

We also enjoyed a wonderful bottle of wine.

Veronica comes to Germany Part 2- Cologne!

We spent a day in Cologne and it was amazing!

Cologne Cathedral. It is breathtaking!

I like that Veronica fit perfectly underneath this sign. Haha. My cute little friend.

Our lunch date! Good eats!!

Views of the Cathedral from the main bridge.

Our most important stop was to the Lindt Chocolate Museum!

Goodbye for now, Cologne.

Veronica Comes to Germany Part 1- Wiesbaden!

My best friend, Veronica, came to Germany to visit me over my fall break! I am so glad she was able to come here. She was our first house guest!

Arrival in Wiesbaden after a very long day of flying

Went to the Cuckoo Clock shop and LOVED it! So many cool German items.

Logan took her out while I was at work. :)
