Our tiny, little miracle

Cillian is in the baby acne and gassy phase. Luckily he is still as cute as ever and we love him madly! Hard to believe he is almost six weeks old. He is becoming more alert of his surroundings and makes noise when he sleeps...just like his Dad. 

Cillian is 1 month old

Yesterday marked one month with our beautiful boy Cillian. We are beyond blessed to have him in our lives and we look forward to watching him grow.

Logan's new work schedule is so great! He usually has rehearsal for a couple of hours in the morning and then a couple of hours in the evening. This leaves us with a long afternoon together. Cillian loves being with his Daddy! I can't imagine raising our boy without Logan. 

A lot of our afternoons consist of family naps together.

3 weeks with Cillian

Baby Cillian has been with us 3 weeks now. We are doing the best we can to be good parents to our little man. He currently weighs 9.5 lbs...I can't believe how much more he has gained since birth! He usually falls asleep every time we go for a walk with the dogs and he loves being outside. Some days we seem to go through 3 different outfits from various mishaps and he hates being changed. When he sleeps he will have occasional moments of "Praise Jesus Hands" and throws his hands up high briefly. His hair looks like it will have a bit of red in it although it's hard to tell exactly what it will look like right now. Most important, he loves listening to oldies music...especially the Dirty Dancing soundtrack.

2 weeks with Cillian

We have had two weeks with Cillian and are loving every minute....we have also both been peed on quite a few times. This boy is gonna be a handful but we love him no matter what. He is becoming quite animated already. 

Welcome to the world Cillian Malone Rucker!

On the morning of my due date, August 3rd, I started going into labor. It was a very slow process filled with painful and long contractions. Around 10pm on August 4th, we went to the hospital and patiently waited to become 10 cm dilated. Unfortunately, Cillian was not turned correctly and I had been up for 48 hours with zero energy remaining. The doctors felt it was best to perform an emergency C-section. At 10:28 AM on August 5th we met our sweet boy!

Cannot believe how blessed we are to have a beautiful, healthy boy. We are so excited to watch him grow up.
