Doctors visit and a little dress up

Today Cillian had a doctors appointment to get some shots. Poor little man immediately started crying and it broke my heart. Both Logan and I were tearing up a bit. The doctor was great about getting it done quickly and Cillian calmed down soon after. We also decided to dress him up in a cute monster onesie my Dad sent us. Everyone thought he looked adorable...naturally.

A warm autumn day

It has been nearly three weeks of rain here in Oldenburg, but the past couple of days have been sunny and warm. We took advantage of the nice weather and went strolling through downtown Oldenburg. 

Cillian was also happy about the nice, sunny weather.

Cillian is 10 weeks old!

Our sweet little boy is 10 weeks old today! We celebrated by sleeping in this morning till about 10:30...as my sister would say "Hot Dog!" For the past few nights we have been putting Cillian to sleep in his crib and every night he stays in it a bit longer than the previous night. Last night he managed to stay in the crib till 8AM. He is starting to suck on his thumb but he is able to sooth himself to sleep. One battle at a time I guess.

Happy 10 weeks little man

Every year Oldenburg puts on a city fair for 10 days with rides, fun houses, games, food and beer gardens. We took Cillian to see it and caught some fireworks while we were there. It was awesome and reminded me of the Texas State Fair our parents took us to every year. 

Didn't cry one time. We were so proud!

The fireworks were awesome! Cillian was surprisingly asleep for most of it and once we put him to bed he was out for 6 hours! I guess he had a sensory overload at the fair and needed some rest. Praise God cause I was exhausted too!

Cillian is 2 months!

Today marks two months with our beautiful boy. Everyday I look at him I am amazed at how much he is growing. He is also becoming quite strong and can hold his head up for a good amount of time. We have been gradually taking him out more and exposing him to our cute town. Last weekend we took a quick trip to Berlin to get his US passport and birth certificate. This kid is so lucky to be born into dual citizenship between the US and Germany. 

So in love with all of his facial expressions!

Like Mother and Father

I made a comparison photo of Logan and I with Cillian. He is such a perfect mix of the two of us! Let's hope he has the best qualities from both Logan and I.
