Family and Friends!

Logan and I have a had a few guests up for a visit. The first visit was with my Dad! We had a lot of fun showing him around DC and Maryland.

We took Dad to the National Mall with the Smithsonians and the Monuments.

Smithsonian Castle; just an information center with a kick ass garden in the back!

Our second guests were our very good friends Kevin and Chennel who live in NYC. They have never been here and we had them down for Thanksgiving weekend (Our second kind of annual Thanksgiving together)

We took them to the Baltimore Pier.

Much better picture of us in front of that boat then the last time we were there!

Rams Head Tavern and Shops in Maryland. Just a fun huge chair to sit in.

In the Garden at the National Mall.

When we lived in Maryland 4 years ago we took pictures with these statues and decided to take some new photos with interesting poses.

We are pretty creative people.

Chinese animal signs. Logan trying to fit his head behind the rooster.

My Chinese animal....the tiger.

Logan's Chinese animal...the ox.

Took Kevin and Chennel to a German Restaurant and Bar in DC. Oh Chennel...and your weird faces.

Well this would have been a great picture...thanks, Logan.

It was so cold when we went to see the White House and Lincoln Memorial.

We love you guys!

Halloween

Logan and I went to a Halloween party and we decided to dress up as Zombie Hunters!
Logan thought this mullet would be a good touch.

We bought fake blood and Logan put a hand print of it on my face.

Good Morning, Baltimore!

Last weekend, Logan and I went out to the Pier and Downtown Baltimore. It was such a beautiful day and we had a lot of fun sight seeing.

Love the leaves changing!

Outside of the American Visionary Art Museum. This was a tree decorated with bits of mirror and glass.

I know, we are so cute! :)

American Visionary Art Museum!

I got photo bombed by Logan.

My pose...

....and Logan's pose.

Giraffe is my favorite animal!

Huge cello made out of pieces of metal and brass parts. It was so awesome!

I tried to get a good view of this...it says, "O Say Can You See."

You were not allowed to take pictures of the inside but it was awesome. All of the art work was made from a collection of different things; glass, metal, sea shells, and other random things. Pretty cool!

Walking to the Pier.

Downtown Baltimore.

We didn't get to go on this old war ship, but it looked cool anyhow.

I was hoping the random guy that took our picture would get the cool Pirate ship in the background...thanks for nothing random guy!

This is the ship....it would've made an awesome background!

We saw a little park on the way that had different sculptures and this xylophone set that any one could come up and play. It was awesome!

This was the ground of the park...it had different pieces of brick that had different homonyms on them.

It was named Pierce's Park after a local business owner Pierce Flanigan III.

We really wanted to revisit an area near downtown that we have been before when we first lived in Maryland. It is called Fells Point and has a lot of cool little shops, eateries and pubs. We have never been in day time, so it was nice to see it all. This is the Witches Pub.

Walking back to our car. It was a long walk to and from Fell's Point, but it was good for us to walk off the food and beer.

Our journey ends!
