It snowed today; which means I got to leave school early!

DIY Mirror

This past week I decided to make a mirror frame following the basic steps of this blog:

It was a frustrating project at first...I bought a mirror with a frame at walmart that we could not get off and I ended up cracking the mirror. Then we bought glue that didn't work for mirrors...a total of 3 trips to Home Depot and two trips to Walmart, here is the final outcome...

We painted the poplar boards with a gray stain and I think it turned out pretty good!



Christmas in Texas!

Logan and I flew back to Texas for Christmas. It was a short trip but we managed to fit in both families in.

Great Christmas in San Antonio!

Back in Granbury...I decided to try on Mrs. Rucker's bra and fill it with shirts to get a better understand of what it is like for her....Its heavy!

Family and Friends!

Logan and I have a had a few guests up for a visit. The first visit was with my Dad! We had a lot of fun showing him around DC and Maryland.

We took Dad to the National Mall with the Smithsonians and the Monuments. 

Smithsonian Castle; just an information center with a kick ass garden in the back!

Our second guests were our very good friends Kevin and Chennel who live in NYC. They have never been here and we had them down for Thanksgiving weekend (Our second kind of annual Thanksgiving together)

We took them to the Baltimore Pier.
