Veronica comes to Germany Part 3-Rhein Castle Cruise!

I really wanted to take Veronica on a river cruise. We found this Rhein Castle Cruise near my town and decided to check it out. It was totally worth it! I think we saw 16 castles along the Rhein.

Such beautiful towns!

We also enjoyed a wonderful bottle of wine.

Veronica comes to Germany Part 2- Cologne!

We spent a day in Cologne and it was amazing!

Cologne Cathedral. It is breathtaking!

I like that Veronica fit perfectly underneath this sign. Haha. My cute little friend.

Our lunch date! Good eats!!

Views of the Cathedral from the main bridge.

Our most important stop was to the Lindt Chocolate Museum!

Goodbye for now, Cologne.

Veronica Comes to Germany Part 1- Wiesbaden!

My best friend, Veronica, came to Germany to visit me over my fall break! I am so glad she was able to come here. She was our first house guest!

Arrival in Wiesbaden after a very long day of flying

Went to the Cuckoo Clock shop and LOVED it! So many cool German items.

Logan took her out while I was at work. :)

Date Night at Paulaner

Went out for some traditional German eats to Paulaner. It is a Bavarian style restaurant and also Oktoberfest season in Germany! I didn't get a picture of it, but we both had Paulaner Schnitzel, which is schnitzel topped with bacon and an egg. It was amazing.

This is Logan's "Here's Johnny" face.

Walking home through downtown Wiesbaden

If you look closely Logan is imitating the eagle with his tongue out.

Holocaust Memorial Wall and Woodland Park

Took a walk the other day and passed by a Holocaust Memorial Wall in our town. We then went another cool park, which was first made into a cemetery. It was huge and very cool! The dogs loved it!

This was built in the same place of the Wiesbaden Synagogue that was destroyed in the war.

The wall has names of Jewish victims who lived in Wiesbaden. Also included are dates and the location of their death.

Tomb at the entrance of the park.

 The park had tire swings!!!

I'm just like Jennifer Gray in Dirty Dancing. :)
